Amelia - the Gothy far-right extremist heroine mistakenly created by foolish ‘anti-racism’ bureaucrats - will be well-known to most of my readers. What you may not have spotted, however, is that the warning-turned-inspiration has embarked on a new career.

Amelia has become a folk-singer, with well-produced AI videos of her performing various (mainly English) classics coming out with commendable regularity on their YouTube channel

Here’s her talented producer’s latest offering, a lively version of Rudyard Kipling’s Smugglers Song.

I’m not writing a long piece today; my post yesterday, On Resistance to Replacement by Force, took a lot of time. It may well also turn out to be, in the long run, the most important thing I have ever written, so if you have spare time today or over the next few days, spend it reading that. The gist of that two-part piece, The Songs of Our Tribe, which I published here last October, is that communal singing is a hugely important part of human identity, and that our collective loss of the ability to sing the songs of our tribe is a grave weakness among many modern Europeans, and particularly the English.

My proposal for a first step towards putting this right is a modest project to produce a core body of proven easy-to-sing folk songs with good choruses, as AI-generated music videos, with karaoke versions and an online songbook.

My reasons for drawing attention to the folk-singing Amelia are two-fold. First, she’s a worthy project in its own right and deserves an even wider audience. Have a listen, subscribe and share her songs. Her Kipling series is a development from the more traditional songs she began with, many of which have more easily grasped and more easily sung melodies. But anyone promoting Kipling’s poems has my attention and support.

Second, it’s because I need to speak with Amelia, or rather her producer. They have AI skills which I, as a technophobic boomer, sadly lack. So I need either their co-operation to turn my project from vision into reality if they have time, or a training session if they do not but can spare an hour or so to point me in the right direction.

Failing that, I need the help of some other patriot who understands the AI programmes being used to generate the music, voice and videos.
